Northbrook Sets Battle of the Bands for Local Schools
A n all-girl band from Davison High School has won the Northbrook College School Bands competition, beating entries from five other schools. ‘Demelza’s Tea Party’ was presented with a first prize of three days’ recording studio time in Northbrook’s music department.
Northbrook College organised the contest among local secondary schools. The bands performed during an evening at the Komedia in Brighton and were judged by staff from Northbrook’s music department. The event was attended by pupils, parents and teachers from the competing schools, which included Worthing High, Shoreham Academy, Davison High, BHASVIC and Sir Robert Woodard Academy.
