E-SKILLS
A wide base of software provides the opportunity to practise and develop IT skills using industry standard computer applications. Regular workshops covering topics that support learndirect courses we offer, e.g. beginners, CLAIT, ECDL and ITQ.
Computer-based training programmes are installed in all Centres, covering internet usage, PC skills and most MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
E-CITIZENSHIP
Selected Centres are designated as UK online Centres - these are part of a UK government
initiative to widen exploration of opportunities that new technologies can offer.
Software
A core range of application software is available at every desktop throughout our Centres. Specialist software is accessible according to location and course. Applications include:
