Motorsport Engineering Students' Formula 4 Success

F ollowing their success in the summer (when they came second in the Formula 4 championship at Brands Hatch), Team Northbrook Racing continued to impress this month, finishing in the top half of the 750 Motor Club Formula 4 championship table.

All eyes were on the College team at the Mallory Park event, as this was only their second outing into Formula 4. Students put in some overtime to get the car prepared in time and they pulled together during the event, performing checks and adjustments.

Lecturer, Bruce Chennell, said, “This was a truly excellent result for the College and for the students and it will be great to see the televised footage in the near future”.

The students involved are studying for the Foundation Degree and the National Diploma in Motorsport Engineering at Northbrook’s Shoreham Airport campus.
