Students Style on Film Set

make up students T heatre Hair & Make-up students from Northbrook College spent the weekend working on Jonathan English’s new film, Ironclad. Currently being filmed in Wales, the star studded film cast includes actors, such as, Robert Carlyle, Bob Hoskins, Richard Attenborough and Jason Flemyng.

The four Foundation Degree students, Natalie Dorothy, 21, Michele Adams, 21, Katy Medcraft, 20 and Hanna Canfor, 20, travelled up to Wales where they were put up in a hotel ready for a very early start. Due on set at 4am, the girls had the task of styling the hair and make-up of 102 extras throughout the day.

Set in 1215, the film plot is based around King John attackingRochester Castle. The girls were required to make up soldiers and grubby looking slaves for a medieval dawn scene.

The film is due out next year and the students have already been asked to go back and work again next month.
