our Northbrook students have made it through to the live regional heat of a national talent show and are in with a chance to progress to the Live and Unsigned festival at the O2 Arena, London.
The students impressed judges in the Live and Unsigned heats in Hove back in January and were two of the four acts in Worthing to get through.
The two acts include Music student and singer, Abi Flynn and guitarist, Lee Bentley and indie band RedManRed with Music Production student, Mark Dobson on guitar and apprentice, Ollie Darby on bass. Now the acts will play at the live regional heat on April 17 th at the Hove Centre.
The final acts will go on to play to an audience of 23,000 and in front of celebrity judges, with the hope of winning the top prize of a recording contract and £30,000 investment.

Abi, who is studying a Foundation Degree in Music Performance, said, “The competition has given me some great exposure so far which is really helpful for my career and I'm hoping the regional finals will help me to get more public recognition. My dream is not to be famous but to be appreciated for my work and simply to keep singing!”
