Northbrook End Of Year Shows

crowds at the show crowds at the show N orthbrook students successfully staged their End of Year Summer Exhibitions throughout June. VIP’s, photographers and members of the public were invited to view the impressive displays of student work in Art, Design and Media.

The exhibitions kicked off with showcases from degree students studying Fine Art, Graphic Design, 3D Design, Fashion & Textiles and Media Arts.The students then took their work to London to showcase alongside other universities from around the country in a series of exhibitions and shows.

Following Northbrook’s degree student exhibition, the pre-university diploma students also displayed their creative work in a three day exhibition. Most of the students were aged between 16 and 18 and have been studying for BTEC National Diplomas in Art, Media, Graphics, Fashion, 3D Design and Interior Design. Many of the talented students will now be progressing on to Northbrook’s degree courses or to other universities.

Students from the Adult Education classes also showcased their work alongside the diploma students. Many of the Adult Education Art & Design students have achieved Open College Network (OCN) qualifications through studying on part time and evening classes at the college.

The annual showcases are great opportunities to see the creative talents of the College’s students and meet the creator’s themselves.

Both shows attracted plenty of visitors including Worthing Mayor, Christine Brown, who was very impressed with the standard of artistic work.
