Salary:           £23,683 starting salary per annum

(within the range of £23,683 - £28,292 pa)

Hours:           1.0 FTE (37 hours per week)

Based at the Shoreham Airport Site

 

We are currently seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Lecturer to give theory and practical instruction on our Automotive City & Guilds, Diploma and Foundation Degree courses.

Your role will be to:

  • Assist in Automotive Engineering course design and preparation, including the provision of schemes of work and individual learning plans
  • Inspire and motivate students of all levels to achieve their chosen qualification
  • Carry out course evaluation and self assessment

You should have the following:-

  • Appropriate related degree or equivalent level 4 qualification with experience of modern vehicle systems
  • A teaching qualification and assessor awards or willingness to obtain within first year
  • Experience of teaching 14 – 19 year old students in school or college based provision
  • An understanding of tutorial responsibilities, quality assurance procedures and current and future FE curriculum developments
