Art, Design and Media Department – West Durrington Site
Salary: £14,209 – starting salary per annum
(within the range of £23,683 - £28,292 pro rata pa)
Hours: 0.6 FTE (22.2 hours per week)

Maternity Cover until End December 2012
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated individual with vision and drive to provide temporary maternity cover. You will be acting as course leader for the Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design and may also be required to lecture on a range of other programmes within the Department. Our Art, Design and Media Department and programmes have a nationally recognised excellent reputation.
You should have the following:-
- Specialist knowledge or experience in the art, design and media field
- A relevant degree (BA Hons) is essential and an appropriate postgraduate qualification is desirable
- A teaching qualification at least to PTTLs level is essential
- Proven excellent teaching and communication skills along with understanding of current and future developments in Art & Design FE Education.
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Good organisation and administrative skills
